Farmer’s Market Style Beer, Charcuterie and Cheese Pairing
November 17, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
We are hosting a Farmer’s Market style Beer, Charcuterie and Cheese Pairing with two amazing vendors, Carl’s Cutting Board from Seattle and Lost Peacock Creamery from Olympia just in time to pick up some specialities for your Thanksgiving table!
Carl’s Cutting Board is a small charcuterie company located in Fremont, Seattle. All our meat is sourced from farmers in the Pacific Northwest that practice sustainable and humane practices. Happy pigs make happy meat, which makes for happy humans. We gratefully accept this exceptional pork and turn it into a variety of charcuterie products. All our products are handmade. We dry-cure whenever possible and never use brine injection. Smoked products are made in a charcoal chimney smoker with real wood chunks, instead of electric sawdust smoking, which is the industry norm.
Our initial offering is focused on Bacon (6 kinds – 5 from pork belly, 1 from jowl), Smoked Pork Loin (Canadian Bacon), Andouille sausage, German style Jagerwurst, Kielbasa, Bangers,Pancetta and Mexican chorizo. Please be sure to visit our Products page for more details, future updates and specials.
Lost Peacock Creamery is a small, family run Grade A Dairy in Olympia, Washington. It is a labor of love filled with their blood, seat, and tears(don’t worry, they keep that out of the cheese)
At Lost Peacock Creamery the goats have wings, the pigs have polka dots, and the trees hug you back. Everyone has a place at their table.
And no, we don’t milk the peacocks.
