We are about to go pick up our Skagit Valley Malting grain in Burlington and I’m reflecting on our 5 years. Time has been good to us! The first three years we were solely selling our beer out of the taproom and sales went up 35% each year. Thanks for those of you who were part of that success. Last year, we got recognized by the wider world. We we featured at “The Herbfarm” in April, won Gold, Silver and Bronze in June, and got accepted as a vendor with PCC in August(although not on the shelves yet. The wheels turn slowly there)In January, the Harry Potter conference contacted us and wants 2 BBL of our beer. This week I sold to Thriftway, Brouwer’s wants us for their Sour Fest(they want our beer before that)and the wheels are turning at Whole Foods and Town and Country. And Sip Magazine has finally been convinced that Blended Sour Awards Won by such a small brewery is article worthy. Whew! Come along for the ride!
